What is a Tier List?
Think of it like ranking players from best to worst
A tier list groups players into buckets based on how valuable they are in fantasy football. Instead of saying "Player A is better than Player B," tiers say "these 8 players are all elite — grab any one of them and you're in great shape."
What Do the Tiers Mean?
Tier 1 — The UntouchablesThe best players in the game. If you can get one, spend whatever it takes.
Tier 2 — Elite StartersNot quite Tier 1, but still players who can win you your league. Great value targets.
Tier 3 — Solid StartersReliable players who start every week. Good for filling out your roster.
Tier 4 — Streamers & SleepersPlayers who might surprise you. Lower cost, higher risk — great for late in the draft.
Tier 5 — Lottery TicketsLong shots. You might get lucky, you might not. Draft these last if at all.
The Settings Bar
Scoring Format — PPR, Half PPR, or Standard
This is how your league awards points. PPR means a player gets a point every time they catch the ball — so receivers and pass-catching running backs become way more valuable. Standard means only touchdowns and yards count. Half PPR is in the middle — catches are worth half a point each.
League Format — Standard vs Superflex
Standard means your team starts one quarterback. Superflex means you can start two — which makes quarterbacks much more valuable. If your league is Superflex, QBs jump up big in the tier list, because everyone needs two of them.
Budget — How much money your league gives you
In an auction draft, every manager gets the same amount of fake money to bid on players. Most leagues use $200. Set this to match your league so the tier list lines up with your price sheet in the War Room.
Using the Tier List
Step 1 — Hit Generate Tier List
Once you've set your scoring format and league format, hit the gold Generate Tier List button. The Oracle will build your personalized tier list in a few seconds, adjusting player rankings based on your exact league settings.
Step 2 — Browse positions using the tabs
After generating, click the QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DEF tabs to see each position's tiers. Each position has its own separate list — so Tier 1 QBs are the best quarterbacks, Tier 1 RBs are the best running backs, and so on.
Step 3 — Move players between tiers if you disagree
The Oracle is smart, but you know your league. If you think a player belongs in a higher or lower tier, just drag their card to a different tier. Think of it like rearranging sticky notes on a board. Your changes stay for your whole session.
Connecting to Your Price Sheet
The tier list and price sheet work together
Head to the Auction War Room first and pick your strategy — like RB Heavy or WR Heavy. When you come back to the tier list, it will automatically highlight which tiers are your main targets. For example: if you picked RB Heavy, Tier 1 and Tier 2 RBs will show a ★ YOUR TARGET badge — those are the players you're spending big on.
What does ★ YOUR TARGET mean?
When you see ★ YOUR TARGET on a tier, those are the players your strategy says to focus on. If there are 8 RBs in Tier 1 and you're RB Heavy, those 8 players are your top priorities on draft day — bid aggressively for them and don't let them go cheap.
